"Dan" Fleming, age 88, of Hartford, Wisconsin passed away on Friday, January 10, 2020 at his home. Dan was born in Milwaukee, WI on February 24,1931 to Sarto and Dorothy (nee Birkholz) Fleming. Dan married Joyce Moninger on September 6, 1952 at Mother of Perpetual Help in Milwaukee, WI. He served his country in the United States Army 82nd Airborne. Dan was the  owner of his family catering business. He enjoyed sailing on Pike Lake, bowling, golfing, and both downhill skiing and water skiing. Dan is survived by his loving wife Joyce, children, Tina Seitz of Wales, WI and Daniel (Jennifer) Fleming of Vernon Hills, IL; cherished grandchildren, Stephanie (Kevin) Bensen, Jeffrey (Jennifer) Skoug, Andrew Skoug, Sarah Skoug and Brendan and Claire Fleming; great-grandchildren, Abby, Ava, Ethan, Noah, and Eli. Dan is further survived by a sister-in-law Sharon Alred and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; son-in-law Gary Seitz, sisters Patricia (Dominic) Cuccinelo and Barbara (Dennis) Lehmann and brother, Bill Fleming. After graduation she and her husband Dan ran the family catering business together for many years. Joyce really enjoyed golf and bowling, skiing and was president of her garden club in Hot Springs Village, Arkansas. She was especially known for making quilts and giving them to her family and friends. Aside from her hobbies and interests she really enjoyed being with her family, friends and being a proud grandma and great grandma. Joyce is the beloved wife of the late Daniel "Dan." Loving mom of Tina Seitz of Wales, WI and Daniel (Jennifer) Fleming of Vernon Hills, IL; cherished grandchildren, Stephanie (Kevin) Bensen, Jeffrey (Jennifer) Skoug, Andrew Skoug, Sara Skoug and Brendan and Claire Fleming; great-grandchildren, Abby, Ava, Ethan, Noah and Eli. Joyce is further survived by her sister Sharon Alfred of Jonesboro, Arkansas and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Henry and Pauline Moninger; sister Jeri Koriath. Mass of Christian burial for Joyce will be celebrated Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at 11 am at St. Kilian Catholic Church (264 W. State Street, Hartford, WI 53027) with Fr. Britto Suresh officiating.
